The M.E.R.C.S. Headquarters

Welcome to the M.E.R.C.S. Headquarters, the first and only (so far) website dedicated to the sequel to Capcom's Commando. Although titled differently in English, in Japanese, Commando was "Senjou No Ookami". Mercs was "Senjou No Ookami 2", thereby proving the sequel relation between the two games. Commando was the classic overhead shooter. It is remembered for its innovation in action games in 1985. M.E.R.C.S. is a next-generation elaboration on the Commando theme, maintaining the Commando action environment, while adding much better graphical effects, enhanced music, and more complex gameplay. In my opinion, M.E.R.C.S. is the best action/war shooter game yet developed. Others may come and go with better graphics, or sound, but it is M.E.R.C.S. and Commando who will live on for their unique combination of video game characteristics into a highly enticing and highly enjoyable format. I hope my humble website provides all the necessary information, tools, and files for the full enjoyment of this great game.
